Apprenticeship as Electronics technician for automation technology

As an electronics technician for automation technology, you will focus on the following areas: circuit diagram design, wiring of control cabinets, and installation and assembly of components such as sensors and pumps. Your team will be our production department at our site in Wunstorf during the 3.5-year apprenticeship. You will support the team with customer projects right from the start.

Your vocational school will be the BBS Neustadt in Neustadt am Rübenberge in Germany.

Your main tasks
  • Introduction to circuit diagram design, wiring of control cabinets and installation of components such as sensors and pumps
  • Getting to know the latest system technologies from process automation Supporting our fitters during commissioning and troubleshooting on site at the customer’s premises
  • Carrying out PLC programming and tests
What requirements should you bring with you?
  • Secondary school leaving certificate I or II
  • Good performance in physics and mathematics
  • Enthusiasm for technology and manual dexterity
  • Good comprehension, willingness to learn and logical, abstract thinking
  • Enjoy teamwork, sociability and communication skills
  • Confident verbal and written expression
