Theory and practice are closely linked here. Your previous training gives you in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering from which you can also benefit during your studies. The practical work in the company is strongly oriented towards the curriculum, so that you get the ideal combination for further personal and professional development. Another advantage is certainly that you can earn your own money after school, but don’t have to give up your studies – this offers you independence. After your studies, you can start your career path either in a suitable position or with a further part-time degree – here, too, the paths are open to you with onoff.
You can apply directly to us for a study place (letter of motivation, CV, relevant certificates). There is no fixed application period. Ideally, however, you should apply approximately ¾ to 1 year before the start of your studies on September 1st of each year. For your application, we need your last two school reports and further proof of extracurricular activities. If your school leaving certificate is not yet available, you can submit it later when you have your degree in your pocket.
You need a higher education entrance qualification for the dual study program, i.e. either a general higher education entrance qualification or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
The advantage of the dual study program is that you will receive a monthly salary from us as the training company. The salary is based on the standard training allowance for the course. We will be happy to give you more information about this in an interview. We also pay the tuition fees for your studies at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
